Promoting Transparency and Accountability in Major Infrastructure Decisions

The Brant Civic Accountability Association is a community-led organization dedicated to promoting transparent decision-making and responsible infrastructure planning in Brantford and Brant County.

About Us

BCAA is a non-partisan civic organization focused on transparency, responsible planning, and informed public engagement.

Our current focus includes matters related to the Brantford Municipal Airport lands, including governance, process, and potential boundary adjustments involving the City of Brantford and the County of Brant, as well as the proposed West Brant Access Route (formerly Oak Park Road Extension), a major infrastructure project under Ontario’s Environmental Assessment process.

Major infrastructure and governance decisions shape communities for generations. These matters are interconnected and have broader implications for land use, transportation, taxation, and long-term planning across both municipalities.

Residents of the City of Brantford and Brant County deserve clear information, transparent processes, and responsible stewardship of public resources. BCAA provides fact-based information, encourages constructive dialogue, and promotes independent technical review.
